air purification technology, to sterilize
the air. No filters or UV lamps to
replace, totally silent operation,
and highly effective at destroying
everything that comes it's way: viruses,
mold, pollens, bacteria, even ozone
doesn't have a chance when passing
through the Airfree's 400 degree
chamber. The heat sterilized air
is then released back into the room
via the top of the unit. (Airfree
does not heat the room, creates same
amount of heat as 1 person).
How effective is the Airfree? If someone were to sneeze in a room, will this unit be able to scoup up the airoborne virus before it is filtered by human air purifirs? (lungs). Probably not. It takes air flow to move something from point A to point B. This unit will work over time to filter the air (days, not minutes). If you want more virus and bacteria protection, we recommend you run your HVAC fan in the "ON" positioin 24/7 and emply a UVC induct system to sterilize ALL of the air in your home 2 times per hour. If however you're looking for something to put in your nursery that won't disturb your baby, this is a good choice.
