Mold remediation
contractors use shock treatment ozone generators
to kill surface mold. If you have a mold problem,
we suggest you consult with a professional. They
have the equipment, knowledge, and expertise needed
to handle the situation. If you want to do it yourself, don't touch the mold and simply hit it with a few hours from our 3600 or 7200 mg/h commercial ozone generators to make sure the mold is killed before you attempt to handle it. (again, not advisable to handle mold) Mold spores that have traveled around your residence however can be killed with ozone shock treatments.
Installing a UVC induct whole house air sanitizer is also a good way of dealing with any type of mold issue. All of the air in your house will pass by 2 UVC lamps two times per hour, so if there is any mold in the air, it will soon become dead mold as our UVC system has a proven 99.99% kill rate vs mold.
What about HEPA air purifiers? They do not kill mold, they only trap it inside the unit. That's a problem however. Mold can continue to grow inside a dark air purifier. Not the best way to attack a mold problem in our opinion.
